The Irish Section of the Nutrition Society is a regional Section of the Nutrition Society, and is represented on the Nutrition Society Council, based in London, England. The Irish Section of the Nutrition Society committee is now the contact for the IUNS.

Activities in 2006-2007

In July 2007, The Irish Section organised the main Nutrition Society summer meeting entitled ‘Diet and Chronic Disease’ in the University of Ulster, at Coleraine. A postgraduate symposium was also run in February 2007, in Belfast.
