Ongoing EventsDrafting “National Nutrition Policy” NUTRITION SOCIETY OF TAIWAN (NST) set up a task force in 2008 to conduct a series of activities in following years to prepare a draft of “National Nutrition Policy”. The activities include surveys on the current nutrition status in Taiwan, and comparing the survey results to those of the developed countries, and offering advice to relevant agencies, departments and organizations. They meet on a regular basis to work together. Now the 2nd version of the draft is under review. It consists of 8 chapters and 23 sections. After a circulation in relevant government sectors, hopefully it will serve as a major draft for legislation.
