This piece, "Food companies and nutrition for better health," by Derek Yach corresponds to his reply to a request by the IUNS President to inform the nutrition community on his motivations on taking the post of Director of Global Health Policy at Pepsico.  On a recent visit to Purchase N.Y., Dr. Uauy visited Dr. Yach and defined potential interactions between IUNS and Dr. Yach in order to achieve the common objectives of improved nutrition through healthier food products. The goal is to make healthy foods the easy choice.
